Augmented Reality on a Mobile

Under: News Date: March 8th, 2006

This is amazing and looks realistic, Viennese computer scientist Daniel Wagner has come up with a way to show a virtual figure on an i-mate SP5 mobile phone. The way it works is that there is a virtual character on your mobile that is 3D and when you move you phone he stays there. If you move your mobile back he stays in that spot and if you move the mobile around the character if still faces you, its like if you have your camera on and you want to take a picture of something which you can move around the object but it follows you. Amazing is what we think at Phones Review. Other people with mobole phones can see this character also from their points of view.
