Haier Elegance: The tiny mobile phone we will lose

The Haier Elegance has been dubbed the smallest phone in the world at only a mere 90.6 x 35.3 x 18.2mm and weighing only a mere 64 grams, so yes this is a tiny phone. If you look at the picture you can see how small it is up against a normal sized credit card. The Elegance from Haier features a 1.1 inch Organic LED screen plus, MP3 player, FM radio and Bluetooth technology.

disappointing….no facility to record outgoing calls only.
Screen very very hard to see out doors.
Small “yes”…but lots better for the cost of this one.

Sent mine back as bluetooth was not compatible with my headset, I could not see the screen in direct sunlight, the calendar was no good for storing items against the date and the signal dropped out in my house where previous nokia and sony-ericsson handsets had no issue. Otherwise the phone was okay, quite expensive for basic features, but was small!

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to attach a lanyard to this phone. It seems to come with a headset with a lanyard, but I can’t see an attachment point on it.

  4. Mims says:

to attach a lanyard in the elegance you have to remove the back cover, there a little square space towards the top that is meant for the lanyard.

just bought one ideal second phone
main one is a sonim the brick so just divert calls to the haier and you can put it in your pocket without pulling your shorts down
can’t comment on mp3 player its very fiddly to use also you cannot see the screen outdoors and the menu is a nightmare to use
if you just want to accept incoming calls or make the odd calll on holiday/weekend/clubbing its ideal
as a main phone its totaly useless
the one i bought is usa 850/1800/1900 gsm
and works well in the uk on tmobile cost £90 including postage of ebay
