Robert, I’ve been waiting for this phone too and I spoke to O2 last week who said it would be available today. 24th Sep but I’ve called them today and now it’s the 1st Oct.

phone o2 myself today and they said to me also it would be available from the 1st of october, but these things seem to go back and back.
Went into my Local O2 branch today who said it should have been released on the 24th and that they should have had them in for the 1st but still don’t have them as yet!
I want to see and test one before I go buying.
O2 Online still do not have stock but it is available through the CPW group of websites.

I just upgraded this morning with O2 and got the Nokia 6500 Classic - so it is available.
Ordered mine on Thursday off O2 Online, came on Friday, great phone! Few things I prefer about my old 6230 but sure i’ll get used to it!

You can get 6500 classic sim free to use your own sim card, from jag phone shops. They are £269.

HOld the phone between a pc of non slip materials eg the non slip mats…then slide the cover off and it comes off like a breeze!
