T-Mobile have officially announced that they will be selling unlocked iPhones. We’ve all waiting for this day but the news is bittersweet. Unfortunately, the unlocked handset will set you back around 999 Euro ($1500!!!) and will only be sold in the telecom’s official shops!
The reason why T-Mobile can sell unlocked iPhones only 11 days after it was released in Germany is because a court ruling outlawed the exclusive sales of phones on contract only.
The good news benefits those who already have an iPhone and bought it between the 19th of November and the day the first unlocked handsets are release as their iPhones can be unlocked for free.
