Apple iPhone Stocks application allows you to track currency exchange rates

Apple iPhone Stocks application

Have you got the Apple iPhone and you want to track exchange rates on the go? Then please behold the new Apple iPhone Stocks application that allows you to track exchange rates.

The Apple iPhone is now the only tool you ever will need, because the same data stream that the Apple iPhone uses that gets updated stock information will also give you the latest currency exchange rates.

Yahoo have got special ticker symbols which can be used to retrieve currency exchange rates and by adding these little special symbols to your Apple iPhone’s Stocks application will give you one-touch access to exchange rates.

Here is an example – If you added the ticker symbol “GBPUSD=X” to your stocks list it will keep you updated on how many US Dollars you will need to buy say one British pound. How about adding “CADUSD=X” ticker symbol, this will let you know how bad the USD is doing.

Will you use this service, if so why?

You know, if they gave us an instruction manual we wouldn’t be reliant on people like yourself for such invaluable advice.

Thanks…just what I needed it to do :)

I agree. Very useful tip and frustrating that this is not documented when we buy the iPhone! I know there are many others just as appreciative who chose not to thank you in words.

Just want to say thank you. I have had an iPhone since day 1 and never new I could do this. Excellent! I wonder how many apple employees know this. Very few I bet!!!
    Much appreciated. Cheers!

If you need just simple stock portfolio tracker that does not require any accounts and registrations, this one is ideal:
