China have a rep of making not too good quality mobile phones, however the latest mobile the CK800 is proving to be the opposite, and although somewhat ugly but indestructible, it seems to have been created to compete with Sonim XP1.

The CX800 presumably can take being dropped and also works while submerged under water; it is certainly a viable option to the Sonim XP1 the “world’s toughest phone” and especially when it will probably cost less, and the fact that Chinese phones can actually be charged via a portable AA battery charger, which we think is somewhat neat.
