At CES in Vegas, Sony has launched a new fashion focus mobile phone as part of its Z range with the Z555 which comes with optional design collection of four leather bags and three new Bluetooth headsets the HBH-PV708, HBH-PV712 and the HBH-PV770.
Sven Totte, head of Sony Ericsson’s Style Marketing said: “The Z555 is designed to reflect your look and attract attention. We’ve created it for people who are looking for a beautifully designed phone that reflects their personal style and does not compromise on features or performance.”
Sony Ericsson hopes the “bling” design along with a few innovative features such as gesture control will attracted buyers. The Z555 is available in a clam shell design without exterior screen, and in two colours, Dusted Rose and Diamond Black, and has a 1.3 megapixel camera along with Sony Ericsson software.
Sister phones the Z555i and Z555a will be available in markets from Q1 08 with eth Z555i being EDGE/GPRS/GSM 900/1800/1900, and the Z555a being GPRS/GSM/EDGE 850/1800/1900.
