Sony launches 16GB Memory Stick at CES 2008

While at CES 2008 Sony launched its highest capacity memory stick to date at 16GB, a Pro Duo memory card which is supposed to be ideal for use with HD camcorders and includes Sony’s handycam devices.

This new 16GB memory stick is capable of storing up to 110 minutes of high-definition video recorded in 1920 mode or if shooting in 1440 LP mode 6 hours. The size of this stick is approximately the size of a postage stamp, and can be removed from the cam and placed into the media slot of a PC, and should be available in March at an approximate cost of $300.00
