At the Mobile World Congress Imagination Technologies had their stand which was comparing the Nokia N81 handset with dedicated 3D to the Nokia N95 which is without 3D, and so it was a test of the N81 running its graphics of its CPU verses the N95’s turbo dedicated chip, and someone managed to capture it on video which you can view below.
You may be able to notice on the vid that there’s 50 – 60 x acceleration achieved by the dedicated HW which is backed by NVidia. So take a look at the video to see what you think.
