CoPilot Live mobile navigation system now benefits from a connection with Microsoft Live Search, which enables a user to input a query into the input box, such as a brand name or back or even coffee and the user is quickly presented with a list of matches that are close to their local.
CoPilot queries are achieved via sending to Microsoft’s Live search over the internet with resulting useful information on specific locations. Amongst other information the search will bring back to the user a list of nearby restaurants, shops, leisure facilities, and businesses which can in turn be added to the users itinerary for either touch screen or spoken guidance.
CoPilot live/Microsoft Live will be included as part of the newest CoPilot, the CoPilot 7 and should be available from April, and for those who have already purchased the CoPilot 7 a download is available.
