Last week at the GDC Glu Mobile revealed it has signed a contract with Fox Mobile Entertainment with a view to developing games and content upon the Ice Age brand. Kicking off this newly formed partnership is a mobile exclusive Mammoth Mayhem game which should reach mobile handsets by summer.

It is also planned to release a tie-in game to the movie Ice Age 3 in 2009 around about the July area. Apparently, Glu has said the franchise to date has been a continuing success with Artic Slide taking one of the top positions in its games for 2006. So maybe we will be seeing quite a few chilling games coming to the mobile arena soon.
