Samsung U940 mobile changed to “Glyde” by Verizon Wireless

Just updating you on the Samsung U940 which we mentioned way back in November 2007 it seems Verizon Wireless has had a change of heart. Verizon Wireless has changed the name to “Glyde” which many people will be happy with, but then again some may hate it, I am on the fence with this one.

The Samsung Glyde does seem to sound better than the Samsung U940, this upcoming high-end QWERTY mobile phone is hopefully coming in March which we will have to just sit back and wait to see if that is true because as far as targeted release dates go we never believe until we definitely see.

What we want to know is an answer to this question “Were Verizon Wireless right to change the name form Samsung U940 to Samsung Glyde?
