Sony Ericsson have updated their Xperia X1 spec sheet to now include the use of a microSD expansion card; before it had a horrible proprietary MemoryStick memory card format. Sony Ericsson’s decision to update to a microSD card format makes the Xperia X1 so much better as a smartphone.
Rumour also has it that Sony Ericsson may bung Windows Mobile 6.5 into the Xperia X1 mix rather than all those images that show it running Windows Mobile 6.1. So when all’s said and done if these rumours are true the Xperia X1 is going to be one awesome smartphone once it hits the shelves, which is still about 6 months away.
