Over the weekend it was rumoured about the update for the Sprint Mogul, also known as the HTC Titan, well as of today the rumour turns into fact as the official announcement came today. Said update not only includes the EV-DO Rev.A functionality along with Sprint Navigation service and GPS but now has the addition of a task manager for the Today screen and also fixes a Windows Live messenger bug. It also has improved Bluetooth performance when tethered to the Mogul as a modem and also when you use with your wireless headphones
This Sprint Mogul update is free, however a warning, installing the update will erase your Mogul, and so HTC has recommended you back-up your handset prior to installation. This latest update will add EV-DO Rev.A which allows for speedier downloading and uploading when transmitting data; it improves Bluetooth performance, adds a task manager to the Today screen, and corrects a Windows Live Messenger fault.
