Apple iPhone finally in Ireland and Austria but no unlimited data plan

Under: Apple iPhone, Mobile Phones, News Date: March 14th, 2008

iphone austria and ireland

The Apple iPhone is finally in Ireland and Austria and first of all before you get to excited both of these countries do not offer an unlimited data plan.

For €399 you will get the 8GB iPhone and for €499 you can have the 16GB iPhone, it is T-Mobile that offers the iPhone for the Austrian market and of course O2 for the Irish market.

The strangest things in life always happen and Irish subscribers are not entitled to Visual Voicemail or free WiFi even though they are offered by O2 UK and as said above neither country offers an unlimited data plan which is madness.
