Quickoffice has launched its mobile office suit Premier 4.0 for Symbian UIQ 3 handsets, allowing select Motorola handsets such as the Z8 and Z10 smartphones, and Sony Ericsson handsets to edit Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word files.

This new version of Quickoffice holds several enhancements which improve usability along with performance optimization so it will handle varying document sizes along with support for spreadsheet formulas and editing capabilities. Users will be able to control formatting, text when revising documents, and graphics.

Included in this release is support for graphic presentation changes, you can even optimize the display of documents in each app, and use the new ZoomView features, and is allows over the air upgrades. However on the downside, Quickoffice Premier 4.0 does not support Microsoft Office 07 XML based files. Quickoffice Premier 4.0 costs $50.00 from the Quickoffice website.
