If rumors are true then it looks as though the handwriting recognition software that is already used on Mac OS X could make its way to the Apple iPhone. Apple is now in the process of looking for a person to help extend the Mac technology so that it can be used on their handset.
Apple is hoping that this engineer will be able to advance this handwriting recognition technology, so that it can be used in a number of other products. Apple says that the candidate needs to be able to enhance on the code that already exists. However one thing does trouble me, I have spoken to a number of Apple iPhone users and it seems as if they are not bothered about using a stylus on their handset.
