If you live in France, have an Apple iPhone and on the Orange network you will be so happy about the latest news that has just been revealed.

Oh yes Apple 3G iPhone upgrade deals have been reported in where existing iphone owners have been called, French iPhone owners who have the existing model have apparently been contacted by Orange who are the official French carrier-partner with some special offers for the next generation device called the Apple 3G iPhone which is coming soon. PCInpact which is a French website are claiming that many of their readers have been called by Orange about upgrading to the next-gen 3G iPhone.

Apparently there are two options for existing iPhone owners with the first being a direct swap in where the owners can in fact trade their existing iPhone and get the 3G iPhone for 50 euros, the second option is for those who want to keep their normal iPhone but also want the 3G version, in this case they can buy the new 3G model at a generous discount.

This all may be true or false who knows, Orange themselves have not commented on these rumours, we will have to wait and see. The 3G iPhone is expected to be announced at an Apple developer event on June 9th 2008.
