Samsung Soul U900 smashes Apple iPhone Sales in first month: One million sold

Samsung have hit the jackpot by selling a massive one million Samsung Soul U900 mobile phones, the flagship handset has beaten the Apple iPhone in the first month of sales.

The Samsung Soul U900 has done very well indeed in the UK and in its first two weeks sales were at a high of 80,000 units and overall 280,000 of these phones have been sold. German sales are also in the high numbers where they exceeded 150,000 units thanks to great marketing with German football player Michael Ballack. Apple sold 1.7 million iPhone’s in 3 months so if you weigh it all up Samsung in the first month overall has sold more handsets than Apple. Samsung are planning on launching the Samsung Soul in China, Russia, Southeast Asia as well as their home market of South Korea, once this happens sales will just raise so much and figures will be dramatically much higher than the iPhone.

We reported that Phones 4 U is offering the Samsung Soul in pink, more info here. Game on is all we can say, how will the Samsung Soul U900 pair up when the iPhone 3G releases on July 11th.

Phones4U announced last week that they are offering a shocking pink version of the Soul. So the question is “Is the Samsung Soul better than the Apple iPhone?

That’s one of the stupidest comments I’ve ever heard. You can’t just multiply the sales for the first month to predict how well it will do for the next 3 months.

This is a ridiculously stupid article. Samsung soul ? I’ve never heard of this phone until now. And obviously this is not a “smartphone”. This is like saying Motorola Razr sold more than gaming PCs in its first month. Please compare Apples to Apples .. no pun intended. Heh!
