Well the problems just seem to keep rolling in on the Apple iPhone 3G don’t they? Well not so much as the Apple iPhone 3G itself but rather the latest jailbreak solution, so in a way it’s still iPhone 3G bad news yet again right?
The latest iPhone solution from the iPhone Dev Team, the iPhone Pwnage Tool 2.0, which is the successor to the original idiot-proof jailbreak solution Pwnage Tool was released on the 18th. Pwnage Tool 2.0 allows the user to gain full read-write access to the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPhone 3G and modify the firmware to take 3rd-party apps.
But while the Pwnage Tool 2.0 represents the latest iPhone 3G jailbreak solution, most users wish to remain clear of it until the iPhone Dev Team clear out all the nasty little bugs and streamline the process so that every the most novice of iPhone 3G users can actually use it.
Granted, the iPhone Dev team has done a great job on pushing out the Pwnage Tool 2.0 in such a short time, but there is still quite a bit of ironing out to do. So best advice would be to hang on and wait for the iPhone Dev boys to release an official super-updated version of the Pwnage Tool 2.0 all bug free and hunky dory.
