Not too sure if this is pointless at this stage but Intego has just release the first antivirus software which will scan your Apple iPhone.
The latest virus barrier software from Intego will scan your iPhone for malware; the software v10.5.3 will scan files on your Mac as well as the iPhone when you sync it to your computer.
What this is all about is the simple fact that Apple is allowing the likes of third-party developers to create applications for the iPhone using Apple’s Software Developers Kit (SDK), and whilst they can do this there is a strong chance that installing some of the apps will harm your handset or even allow them to control your iPhone.
According to Unwired View where we found this information says that the Virus Barrier X5 10.5.3 will run completely on your Mac, no PC version is available at this time.
