Samsung BlackJack III out in Korea via SK Telecom

Under: Mobile Phones, News, Samsung
Date: July 22nd, 2008

Very doubtful if this one will see the shores of America, but the Samsung SCH-M480 which apparently has the name BlackJack III and incorporates Ultra messaging 2 has been released by Korea’s SK Telecom at an estimated price of 600,000 won which is roughly in the region of $592.00

The Samsung BlackJack III is a Windows Mobile 6 professional mobile handset that could virtually be the twin of the i780 which has been on shelves for a few months now.

Spec wise, the Samsung BlackJack III offers up HSDPA, WiFi, a 2 megapixel camera, and a lovely 320 x 320 touch-screen display. The BlackJack III isn’t really a direct successor of the Samsung BlackJack II as the BlackJack II runs on standard.

Apparently word from Boy Genius Report is that AT&T may be acquiring their own BlackJack III sometime in October although will pack a 3 megapixel rather than a 2 megapixel camera.
