Nokia Files on Ovi goes officially live

Files on Ovi beta service was released in July, but now Nokia has announced Files on Ovi is now official and in production, meaning a live non-beta service, which also means it is time to choose your plan.

For those slow pokes not in the know, Files on Ovi is a new service for any internet ready mobile phone that allows the sharing of documents, photos, PDFs, music and more between a mobile phone and PC.

Although Files on Ovi has officially gone live, subscribers are still entitled to a free trial but once the trail runs out users of the remote PC to mobile phone transfer service will have to choose between two annual plans.

The Files on Ovi plans are: 10GB of online storage for $79.99 per year, or 30GB of online storage for $149.99 per year.

Sounds a tad pricey to me, but then again it is an annual fee.
