Are you a Vodafone customer? Are you a fan of the Olympics? Do you want to follow the progress of the British Olympic Team? Is so you can because Vodafone has teamed up with the BBC to launch an Olympic News Service widget which will allow Vodafone customers to keep up to date on just how well Team GB are doing in Beijing.
The Olympic News Service widget allows customers to access a free service that will bring them all of the BBC’s sport coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympiad direct to their mobile phone.
Furthermore, this will be for the first time on Vodafone live, now Vodafone packing sports fan will be able to customise the Vodafone sport homepage so they will be able to reach the coverage they want to reach much quicker.
This Olympic deal includes access to free of charge video highlights, and Vodafone customers that use the Nokia N95 8GB mobile phone can also download and install a mobile BBC Sports widget. The service is available until August 31st.
