It is comforting for us mobile customer to know that even if the suppliers can give an actual release date for a mobile phone there is always one place where the item can be picked up at a price before it has been released.

And although Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X1 mobile phone has a bit of time to go before its official release, the every predictable unofficial supply chain pops up with the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 right now.

The unofficial supplier I speak of is obviously eBay, and eBay seem to be able to offer as yet unreleased mobile handset before their official release.

And so…eBay have up for auction, which expires this Saturday a Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 mobile handset, although it looks as if the price for this metallic mobile marvel is about to hit over the $1,000 mark.

So if you are that eager to own the Sony XPERIA X1 you’d better be slapping down more than a grand before Saturday.
