Cashless shopping from Japan with the Wallet phone

Government officials of Japan said they are going to push their mobile technology abroad, this will include the wallet phone which is extremely popular in Japan.

With Japan being the technology haven of the world with their high speed internet connections, digital broadcasts and electronics, the Japanese mobile technology seems to be lacking, especially the handsets, wireless technology and mobile services need a push.

So with the new initiative let by the Japanese government their wireless technology with be marketed around the world.

The Japanese wallet phone will be the flagship product, in each of the devices you have a FeliCa chip installed, this will communicate with a reader-device at vending machines, train stations and shops for payments via phones. Sony is the name behind the wallet phone.
