Original Apple iPhones fetch a premium price

David Chen, the head of a company which sells used consumer electronics, follows the sales of the Apple iPhone like an expert mathematician. At first the cost of the original Apple iPhone behaved as expected, but when the Apple iPhone 3G hit, demand for the original dropped drastically.

Shortly after the launch of the Apple iPhone 3G, demand for the original iPhone again began to rise along with the price.

Head of NextWorth.com, David Chen says: “We’ve been raising our prices over the past few weeks. It’s an anomaly, but there’s still a lot of demand for the first-generation [device].”

NextWorth Solutions, as of August 26th was paying $200.00 and $300.00 for a “gently used” original iPhone 8GB and 16GB which is $50.00 more than the previous month.
