Another top honcho exits Samsung

It seems that quite a few top dogs in the mobile phone industry are making moves to part company from their company lately, and the latest is Samsung’s head of smartphones, Carl Boraman.

Boraman is the second member of Samsung’s managerial group to exit, as marketing director James King also left Samsung to join Motorola.

Boraman leaves Samsung to take up position as director at b2b communications solution company Tollring, after being with Samsung for 5 months.

‘I’ve joined a company that gave me a great opportunity. The role at Samsung was an interesting one and it was a difficult decision, but this role is right for me. It’s not just the job, it’s the fit. Samsung will always be a consumer brand and my expertise is in b2b,” says Boraman.
