Mobile phone manufacturers are waiting to see just how customers respond to the all new 8 megapixel camera mobile phones that will soon be on the streets, and this is due to some operators questioning the value of an 8 megapixel camera phone to a customer.
Mobile phone manufacturers say the 8 megapixel camera phone has been launched in response to the megapixel-driven demand from consumers.
So far 3 manufacturers have announced the 8 megapixel camera phone, Samsung’s i850, LG’s KC910, and Sony Ericsson’s C905.
One manufacturer senior director says: “Consumers are driven by megapixels and megabytes – they make such a difference on the high street.”
