Spore Origins along with Sega’s Super Monkey Ball promised to bring the Apple iPhone and Apple iPhone 3G into the mobile gaming arena.

Unfortunately the original release of Spore Origins was only compatible with the Apple iPod, even worse was the fact that Spore Origins does not bring character transfer or online gaming.

Spore Origins is expected to hit Apple App Store this week at a price of $5.00. If Spore Origins were more integrated into the Spore parent game it would probably have a potential larger audience. However, as it is we’ll just have to wait and see just how well it performs against the competition.
