£15 million marketing budget for UK Samsung Omnia i900

Seems like Samsung wants their Samsung Omnia i900 mobile handset to be a big success in the UK, and to this end has announced their will be spending just under £5 million on marketing.

The Samsung Omnia i900 uses the tagline ‘everything in one touch’ features a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, Microsoft Office, media player, touch-screen and runs on Windows Mobile.

It appears The Samsung Omnia i900 mobile handset is Samsung’s answer to the feature packed Nokia N96 and Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X1 which is due at year’s end.

Samsung has stated there will be no TV campaign and marketing will concentrate on advertising in the press, online and outdoor.
