According to InformationWeek there may be the possibility of a major iPhone firmware update today, which has me on the edge of my seat right now. Can we see this update giving us the major fixes we wish for?
We all know that the iPhone and indeed the iPhone 3G has given us problems and yes it has been a rollercoaster ride since the last update, maybe this new update will settle all the problems once and for all.
The new Firmware update 2.1 is going or should we say “hopefully” will be announced at the Apple event today. There is also some news of the iTunes 8 being announced as well.
Other than this new iPhone firmware update fixing many problems it is believed to bring many new features as well like better GPS functionality, push notification service and much more.
