Samsung T919 headed for T-Mobile 3G hints FCC

Under: Mobile Phones, News, Samsung Date: September 9th, 2008

It appears that T-Mobile’s AWS 1700Mhz 3G network is moving towards nationwide 3G, and T-Mobile expects to add extra 1700Mhz 3G markets online by October.

AWS 1700MHz is now home to T-mobile’s 3G network and Samsung’s T919 seems to be heading that way.

Documents at the FCC show the Samsung T919 should launch with complete support for EDGE 850MHz and 1900MHz bands along with AWS HSDPA in the US.

There has been no announcement from either T-Mobile or Samsung on the Samsung T919 using T-Mobile’s 3G network; however this 1700MHz radio does make T-Mobile most attractive to the Samsung T919.
