Apple special event sees changes to iPod and iPod Touch

Apple didn’t introduce any new iPhone models at the “Let’s Rock” special event in San Francisco, but they did they did show off some new models of the Apple iPod nano and Apple iPod Touch.

The newest models bring with them some features that where previously only exclusive to the Apple iPhone.

The Apple iPhone Touch now has volume controls on its side and an integrated speaker, and has also been given a slightly curves more Apple iPhone 3G style shape. The new Apple iPod Touch will come in 3 price bands…8GB - $229.00, 16GB - $299.00, 32GB - $399.00.

The Apple iPod nano again receives the iPhone 3G style shape and adds an accelerometer and voice recorder, and comes priced as 8GB - $149.00 and 16GB - $199.00.
