Apparently the HTC Opal is having a rename and will be known as the HTC Touch Viva, and the word is to expect a launch from HTC round about the 30th September.
Spec wise the HTC Touch Viva packs a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, QVGA display, 200MHz TI OMAP 850 CPU, WiFi, GPRS/EDGE, but seriously lacking 3G.
The HTC Touch Viva mobile phone is to also incorporate the TouchFLO 3D interface, but just how HTC will get this to work on that 200MHz CPU we are not too sure, and as yet no pricing either.
