Fancy an ASUS 5-megapixel touchscreen phone? Well, according to pictures posted on the Mobile01 forums, ASUS are planning just that. The Omnia-esque device will feature trackball for non-touch navigation, WiFi, 3G radios and of course the large (WQVGA or WVGA) touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera.

We don’t have much to go on at the moment for this ASUS Omnia touchscreen, but the forum seems too overloaded with possible specifications and on-board memory speculation. We believe that this Omnia-esque device will be competitive to recent Window Mobile devices that are similar.

So we all have to hold tight until we get more information on this Omnia from ASUS themselves.
