Indian company Spice Mobile Ltd has announced the Windows Mobile Pro touch-screen D-1100 mobile phone.

The D-1100 id quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and dual-band 900/1800 and runs on the Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system.

The Spice Mobile D-1100 is a dual SIM handset that has EDGE, but two EDGE radios there is also a standard ten key keypad, 2 megapixel camera, and a 320 x 240 touch-screen.

The idea behind the dual SIM slot is if you visit a foreign country just pick up a local SIM and slot it in for cheaper data. The D-1100 should retail for somewhere around 47,000 Indian Rupees which equates to about $400.00 US.
