The T-Mobile G1 Android phone is here

Under: Google Android, Mobile Phones Date: September 23rd, 2008

Look at the sexy and completely original T-Mobile G1 Android phone, yes it’s the first of its kind EVER, I want one now! Ok, forgive me why I calm down, this is the first official photo released by T-mobile of the G1 Android phone.

So before I run to call T-Mobile to order my one I will tell you a little more about it, the size is 4.6 x 2.16 x 0.63 inches, weighs in at 5.6 ounces, obviously has 3G, has 5 hours talk time with 130 hours on standby, GPS, features a 480 x 320 HVGA display and has a 3.1 megapixel camera, this Android also supports up to 8GB memory although no formats have been specified yet.

The downside of the G1 Android phone is that it doesn’t have stereo Bluetooth and it won’t do video capture, you will require a Gmail account and the weirdest thing is that they are saying that the G1 Android phone will not be sold at stores outside of a 2.5 mile radius of T-Mobiles 3G coverage area. I will look into this and report back, I am seriously thinking of chucking in my BlackBerry for the Android phone, if anyone gets their G1 Android today can you let me have some feedback, go on I dare you to be the first to try it.
