T-Mobile to relax data used in time for Google G1 release

Under: Google Android, News Date: September 25th, 2008

Good news, T-Mobile have issued a statement about the data capping issue which has upset many of its users who do not abuse the network, they are now taking a more calmer friendlier approach and only reprimanding the people who abuse the networks and download excessively or disproportionate usage that interferes with their network performance, which it turn affects the quality to their other customers.

They also mention that they are looking for the new rule to be in place around October in time for the T-Mobile G1 android phone to be available.

T-Mobile wants to provide their customers high-speed data service allowing customers to experience the full data capabilities of the device and their 3G network. The actual terms for the new data plans are still in progress but once they have the data plans finalised they will be letting us all know, all in good time ready for the release of the T-Mobile G1.
