Good news for Russian iPhone lovers, the got-to-have Apple iPhone 3G is coming to Russia, the announcement was made by three of the country’s major mobile carriers Megafone, MTS and Beeline. The iPhone 3G should set you back from about 23,000 to 27,000 ($910 to $1,080 USD) for the 8/16GB iPhone 3G models respectively.
It’s not completely clear as to when the iPhone 3G will reach the shops in Russia as of yet there has been no official announcement. However, inside information has been leaked saying that the iPhone will be available on October 03 2008.
If you want to avoid the queues at the iPhone outlets you can pre-order the iPhone 3G now, and it’s been reported that already tenths of thousands have been pre-ordered.
