Didn’t get the Samsung Omnia due to inconclusive reviews about its responsiveness and the not so enviable Windows OS.
However, the less slimline 8800 appears to be more promising.
Two points to ponder: (1) Does the area surrounding the camera lense have to be so large in order for us to know that its 8mp?
    (2) Why is Wi-Fi absent? Is it an oversight that will be corrected before final release or are the designers simply daft?

Oh, I forgot to ask why is the touchscreen so restricted? Why couldn’t it be broader across - to give it the wide screen factor? The beauty of the i-Phone is that luxurious glassy look of the facade.
Samsung and LG keep missing the point with too much mechanical buttons and wasted metalic spaces around narrow screen. Take a look at the concept Eclipse Intuit, thats how we do it, folks!
