Sprint XOHM WiMax lands in Baltimore

Baltimore is getting Sprint Nextel’s high-speed wireless data service, which is the next generation XOHM WiMax service that is the new option for accessing broadband service. If you live in Baltimore it will cost you $25 a month for access at home and $30 a month for using it on your mobile.

If you want coverage for two WiMax devices it will set you back $50 a month, this service is aimed at consumers connecting several gadgets to the WiMax network.

There are concerns after seeing a policy clause that says the company can limit consumers access to applications and content on the WiMAX network, a public WiMax interest group have been talking about the clause saying that it could cause problem to unrestricted access to the Internet.
