GetJar, the world’s most respected mobile applications portal, has teamed with UK mobile carrier 3, to offer customers a huge library of free applications.
3’s customers, using GetJar will be able to download the most popular free mobile apps such as Yahoo!Go, MyWaves, Google Maps for Mobile, mig33, eBuddy, and Nimbuzz.
3 will be the first UK operator as well as one of the first in the world to offer such a wide range of freeware, ad-supported, and demo apps to customers, and in doing so 3 aims to broaden their service to encourage the uptake of mobile applications.
