Under: Mobile Phones, Motorola, Samsung Date: October 1st, 2008

Next week see’s the launch of the Samsung Sway and Motorola Rapture available on Verizon so finally the long anticipated launch date is upon us, we have been told on the October 6.

Both phones look extremely sleek, but if we take a closer look at the Samsung u650 Sway that’s literally only 0.47 inches thick and not dissimilar to the old VU30’s. The Sway has a smart silver slider that when down gives you access to the keypad, you have a 2-Megapixel camera and it will set you back $119.99 if you sign up for a two year contract or if you don’t want the contract the Samsung will cost you $239.99.

Moving swiftly onto the Motorola VU30 Rapture it has a touch-sensitive external display which is branded as a “vanishing display” by Verizon, sports a 2-megapixel camera and is a very sexy glossy flip design, on a two year contract will cost you $179.99 and no contract will set you back $299.99.
