UK and US Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Tube Release Date: 2009

Nokia must be in heaven at the moment since they announce its brand new Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (Tube); this mobile phone is the craze, the most talked about other than the BlackBerry Storm.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is basically Nokia’s answer to the Apple iPhone, it seems there are delays in bring this handset to the UK and US, will we get it by Christmas 2008? Well sorry the answer to that is probably “NO”.

The device with touchscreen and the fifth-edition of Symbian’s S60 operating system should have had a worldwide availability in the fourth quarter of 2008, but now it seems that the UK and US will not get it until 2009. Now this is just madness in our eyes, we all know that Christmas would bring Nokia’s sales margins to an all new high, pull your finger out Nokia and try you best for a Christmas 2008 release in these two countries and you will have a clear winner.

On the other hand, with the release of the BlackBerry Storm being released do you think Nokia has made the right decision to hold of and let the Storm slow down? Just so you know, seven countries will see the 5800 XpressMusic before years end; India, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Russia and Spain.
