Goodbye Nokia 5800 XpressMusic: Hello Water Touchscreen Concept

Under: News, Nokia Date: October 12th, 2008

Now the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile phone is the most talked about handset on the Net at the moment but it was about time we saw something different, Oh and indeed we have.

We found via MobileWhack a new Nokia Concept Phone, there are many touchscreen smartphones out there like Haptic feedback ones and of course the BlackBerry Storm’s spring working touchscreen, but hey it is nothing like this concept.

Basically this concept, which come on will never go into production uses “Water”, yes that’s right “WATER”. The handset has a pump within which allows water to be inserted into the substrate beneath, buttons on the touchscreen will appear and there you go a cool screen with a difference. Let us know what you think of this.

    Hmmm… Water + Electricity = Don’t Mix!

I can imagine what could happen if the screen broke!

Also you’d need a super powerful battery to keep the pump working for longer than 5 secs!
