T-Mobile USA has announced the availability of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 smartphone, Research In Motion’s first BlackBerry flip design mobile handset in the United States.
The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 offers up a 2 megapixel camera with digital zoom, internal QVGA 2.4-inch diagonal screen, 802.11 b/g WiFi, media player, 128MB of flash memory, 256MB microSD card, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE/Wi-Fi, Bluetooth A2DP/AVRCP.
The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 enables the user to use social networking sites such as FaceBook and Flickr, and measures 3.9 x 1.96 x 0.68 inches with a weight of 3.6 ounces. The 8220 Flip is available in Black although red will be introduced in the coming weeks.
