Apple iPhone to power OLO computer?

Under: Apple iPhone, News Date: October 14th, 2008

OLO Computer apparently has a computer that it powered by the Apple iPhone and they have been showing it off, yes that’s right a notebook/netbook with the Apple iPhone slotting into the trackball place to power the computer.

The OLO seems to run Mac OS X which of course the Apple iPhone doesn’t use so we’re not to sure just how accurate this all is.

Windows mobile users have had access to a similar device for a while known as RedFly, but with that the connection is made via Bluetooth and not by placing a Windows Mobile handset into the keyboard like the Apple iPhone inserts into the OLO.

No word on any launch date or cost for that matter, or even specifications, but is simply lised as “coming soon.”
