The Samsung D980, one of the first dual SIM mobile handsets has gone official as Samsung announce the Samsung D980 in Russia, which is the first European country where it will be available.

The Samsung D980 borrows its design from the Samsung F480 and the user can insert two SIM cards but will only work on 900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS/EDGE bands as there is no 3G.

The Samsung D980 features a 2.6 inch touch-screen, TouchWiz UI, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and video, music and video player, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, FM radio, document reader and microSD slot.
