The LG Rhythm has make a mockery of the release date rumours by beating said rumours by more than a few weeks as it was rumoured to be being launched in the middle of next month.

Well LG have got their fingers out and the LG Rhythm actually launched yesterday and is available in white or black and commands a not too expensive price tag of $119.99 on Alltel contract and after rebate.

The LG Rhythm slider features a secondary touch sensitive display in the middle of its D-pad which is something you don’t come across every day. The Rhythm also offers a 1.3 megapixel camera, integrated FM transmitter, 3.5mm headphone jack, and microSD slot.
